Scholarships in Canada

Universities Financial Aid and Awards Office can assist you in seeking and securing financial aid to pursue your academic objectives. Financial assistance is available in government student loans and bursaries, university scholarships and bursary programs, on-campus work opportunities and corporate scholarship programs.

Student Loans

International students should contact their home government and lending institution(s) in their country for information on student loans. The International Education Finance Corporation provides student loans to international students studying in Canada.

Entrance Scholarships-no application required

Universities grade based entrance scholarships recognize students from all curriculum who have excelled academically. Scholarships offers will be included with offers of admission.
Students of international citizenship may be eligible for one of 15 international scholarships. Final grades will be reviewed for further scholarships eligibility in July/August after final grades are available.

Departmental Scholarships

We’re looking for students who demonstrate academic excellence and proven leadership qualities in addition to creative and original thinking. If that someone is YOU, you are eligible to apply.

Athletic Financial Awards

If you’re a student athlete interested in playing for an interuniversity athletic team you may be considered for an Athletic Financial Award!


Scholarships in India

Ontario Graduate Scholarship Programme

OGS scholarships are available to graduate students in a wide variety of disciplines. The student must have been accepted to an Ontario university, and must have obtained a valid student authorization/visa from the Canadian High Commission prior to application.

Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships

Purpose:These scholarships (includes Academic Year/Multi-Year/Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships) aim to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be nationals of a country where Rotary Clubs are located and must have completed at least two years of university level coursework before the scholarship begins. Criteria vary from program to program. Local Rotary Clubs or the Rotary Foundation can be contacted for details.
